S’Mores with Protein

Ingredients

Indulge in the sweet and chocolatey goodness of a s’mores while still keeping things healthy and high in protein with this delicious smoothie recipe. Made with cottage cheese, protein powder, and other wholesome ingredients, this under 380 calorie smoothie packs 25g of protein! The toppings are optional but so much fun !!

  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese (you will not see or taste it)
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or coffee!)
  • 1/2 small avocado (can be frozen and you will not taste)

Optional:

  • 1 cup ice
  • whipped cream and mini marshmallows for topping
  • 1 graham cracker crushed

I know…. cottage cheese, protein powder and avocado?? I am here to tell you that I didn’t earn my reputation for having food modifications skills overnight !

The cottage cheese will add a thicker texture along with more protein. Additionally the avocado provides a healthy fat which will keep you satiated longer and energized. Feel free to use 1/2 cup Greek yogurt instead of cottage cheese or 1 tablespoon peanut butter instead of avocado as an alternative … or TRUST the recipe and you may want MORE!
