- 1/2 cup cottage cheese ((you will not see or taste it))
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk ((or coffee!))
- 1 cup Ice ((optional))
- whipped cream and mini marshmallows for topping
- graham cracker crushed
Directions:
- Add all ingredients except crushed graham crackers, whipped cream, and marshmallows to a blender.
- Blend on high until smooth.
- Add the graham crackers and pulse until they’re broken down into small pieces.
- Pour the smoothie into a glass and top with whipped cream and mini marshmallows, if desired.
- Enjoy the s’mores smoothie while it’s still cold.
I know…. cottage cheese, protein powder and avocado?? I am here to tell you that I didn’t earn my reputation for having food modifications skills overnight !
The cottage cheese will add a thicker texture along with more protein. Additionally the avocado provides a healthy fat which will keep you satiated longer and energized. Feel free to use 1/2 cup Greek yogurt instead of cottage cheese or 1 tablespoon peanut butter instead of avocado as an alternative … or TRUST the recipe and you may want MORE!
