Garlic Butter Chicken Sausage & Veggie Foil Packets



  • 1 package (12 oz) chicken sausages (pre-cooked)
  • 2 medium sweet potatoes (peeled and cubed)
  • 2 zucchini or squash
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh greek beans about a cup
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)


  1. Preheat: Heat your grill or oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare Foil: Cut four large rectangles of aluminum foil.
  3. Assemble Packets:
    • Divide sausages, sweet potatoes, green beans, and corn evenly among the foil pieces.
    • Drizzle melted butter over each portion.
    • Sprinkle minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Fold and Seal:
    • Fold the foil over the ingredients, then roll and crimp the edges to seal the packet closed.
    • Use extra foil to wrap them a second time for secure grilling.
  5. Grill or Bake:
    • Grill: Place packets on medium heat for 12 minutes, flip, and grill for another 12 minutes.
    • Oven: Arrange packets on a baking sheet and bake for 25–30 minutes.
  6. Serve: Open carefully, garnish with fresh parsley, and savor the deliciousness!
