- 1/2 cup cottage cheese (you will not see or taste it)
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or coffee!)
- 1/2 small avocado (can be frozen and you will not taste)
Optional:
- 1 cup ice
- whipped cream and mini marshmallows for topping
- 1 graham cracker crushed
I know…. cottage cheese, protein powder and avocado?? I am here to tell you that I didn’t earn my reputation for having food modifications skills overnight !
The cottage cheese will add a thicker texture along with more protein. Additionally the avocado provides a healthy fat which will keep you satiated longer and energized. Feel free to use 1/2 cup Greek yogurt instead of cottage cheese or 1 tablespoon peanut butter instead of avocado as an alternative … or TRUST the recipe and you may want MORE!
