2/3 cup water \t 1/2 cup almond milk or milk of choice \t 1 tablespoon walnuts \t 1 tablespoon whole flaxseeds \t 15g or 1/2 scoop protein powder \t 1/4 cup raw oats (plain oatmeal) DIRECTIONS: \t Add raw oatmeal along with water, flaxseeds, and almonds. Cook in the microwave for 2 minutes or stovetop. You can substitute the nuts for any other type of nut or omit them completely if you have a nut allergy. \t In a separate bowl mix 1/4 cup of milk of choice with 15g or 1/2 scoop of protein powder. \t It will dissolve easily after stirring for a few seconds. Almond, cashew, skim, 2% are all acceptable. \t Remove cooked oats from microwave and add protein mixture to the oats and stir. You can add additional water for milk to create the texture that you prefer. Steel-cut oats are allowed but not flavored oatmeal packets due to the sugar content.
