Buffalo Chicken Soup

Ingredients

As many of you may know, I started GETUFIT in 2011. Over the years, I have changed recipes, tweaked recipes, etc. Crazy to think about how far my recipes have come and believe that my clients from my first ever membership kickoff STILL have the meal plans I gave to them in 2013. CRAZY!!! Buffalo Chicken Soup was an all-time favorite when I put this on the plan, and thought I would share it on my blog! Who doesn’t love buffalo chicken dip?? Well now here is the soup recipe that is GETUFIT APPROVED!!!! Nothing better than that!

  • 2 cups sliced celery
  • 1 diced onion
  • 5 carrots sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 3-4 large chicken breasts, raw and cubed
  • 1 can white beans, drained
  • 1 can black beans, drained
  • 3 cups chicken stock
  • 1/2 cup hot wing sauce
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 3 sliced rep peppers
  • 2 tablespoons ground cumin
  • 2 tablespoons ground chili powder

 

Directions:

  1. Put everything in a crockpot. Cook on high for 4-6 hours.

  2. After it is done, top with fresh cilantro and greek yogurt. Enjoy!

Makes 8 servings
